International Programme

EtonHouse offers an international research based playgroup, nursery and kindergarten programme. The EtonHouse Inquire-Think-Learn curriculum is inspired by the infant and toddler centres of Reggio Emilia in Northern Italy, hailed by Newsweek as one of the best in the world. The integrated inquiry-based programme invites children to explore, discover, hypothesise, predict, problem solve, construct and document their deepening understanding of the world in which they live. They are encouraged to explore their environment and express themselves using multiple languages. Children are provided a thoughtfully considered beautiful learning environment, designed to stimulate the learning and development of young children and to ensure that children interact and build relationships with the natural world. Learning is made visible through documentation panels, newsletters, individual portfolios, learning stories, parent teacher conferences, parent workshops and curriculum sessions. Teachers carefully observe and document short, medium and long term goals for each individual child in alignment with the EtonHouse Curriculum framework for playgroup, nursery and kindergarten children.

At EtonHouse, children are respected as competent thinkers and communicators and are given the opportunity to engage with a wide range of materials and resources that extend and challenge their thinking. With an international team of highly-qualified teaching staff, a well-designed learning environment, and an integrated inquiry based programme, EtonHouse cultivates in children a genuine love for learning and supports them to develop into creative, curious, knowledgeable, responsible, multi-lingual and competent global learners.
